I am a shareholder and director with Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe, one of Denver's oldest law firms. Though I enjoy litigating employment and other civil matters, I dedicate a significant part of my practice to working with clients to avoid the cost and disruption of civil litigation and court room.
In my employment practice, I provide day-to-day advice to public and private companies on allegations of employment discrimination, non-compete agreements and other labor and employment matters. I provide training for public and private companies on issues such as diversity, management strategies, electronic document management and sexual harassment, and drafts employment documents, including employee handbooks and contracts.
In my litigation practice, I work with clients to navigate the court system and administrative channels to find justice. Whether I am representing a client in an employment dispute in Federal Court, appearing before an administrative law judge to advocate for a particular regulatory interpretation or negotiating with opposing counsel, I am dedicated to pursuing your interests.
My areas of focus include labor and employment law, discrimination disputes, non-competition issues, civil and commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation, negotiation, trainings, HR audits and consultation. I work with employers and employees and enjoy working with small, medium and large companies, as well as individuals. I have developed niche in the restaurant and early education / child care industries.
