Legal Ease Consulting, Inc. and the Lawyer Meltdown site were created to help lawyers create more productive, profitable and enjoyable law practices.
I help lawyers attract the kinds of clients they want by creating effective marketing messages and realistic marketing plans customized to the firm and its lawyers. We identify the firm's competitive advantages and the unique benefits the firm provides to its clients and highlight those benefits and services. Then we select the marketing and business development activities best suited to the firm and its lawyers.
I work with lawyers and law firms to develop systems and procedures that help them to work more effectively and efficiently.
By refining their client selection process, developing good management and productivity skills, systematizing client intake, billing and other procedures, developing fee structures and billing alternatives that work for the firm and its clients, and creating effective retainer and fee agreements, among other activities, lawyers can increase client loyalty and retention while at the same time focusing on the highest value activities and challenges.
Lawyers who work with Legal Ease on an ongoing basis receive step by step advice and planning, as well as built in accountability systems to help them identify and reach their goals. Many lawyers have great ideas about how to improve their practices, but the day to day pressures of handling client work and putting out fires often gets in the way of implementing those ideas and plans. By developing a schedule of ongoing meetings and action plans, we help lawyers make things happen in their practices.
Legal Ease also offers project services such as copywriting, creation of fee or retainer agreements, business and marketing plans, and creation or updating of on-line profiles necessary for today's lawyer to maintain a professional on-line presence.
