Tom McLain currently works for a technology company where he draws upon his legal background and experience of helping companies grow. AirWatch, LLC has two distinct product offerings.

AirWatch is a leading provider of enterprise-wide mobile device and WLAN management solutions. Designed to track, monitor and manage an enterprise’s entire fleet of mobile devices, AirWatch provides corporate IT departments with a single, integrated, real-time view of their entire wireless environment, including the WLAN network infrastructure and all 802.11 and WWAN mobile devices—iPhones, iPads, BlackBerrys, smartphones, ruggedized mobile computers, mobile POS scanners, mobile printers and more.

The Wandering WiFi part of our business is one of the leading providers of wireless infrastructure solutions with over 600 customers in the U.S., including airports, hospitals, grocery chains, hotels, retail stores and corporate offices. Wandering WiFi provides software and services to thousands of locations and millions of users to meet the needs of employees, partners, vendors and guests.

In private practice, Tom focused on general corporate transactional work, with an emphasis on contract negotiation and preparation, mergers and acquisitions, and the formation and governance of corporations and limited liability companies. His experience included representing startup companies and companies in connection with angel, private equity and venture capital investments. In connection with his mergers and acquisitions practice, Tom regularly counseled clients regarding the potential review of such transactions by the antitrust enforcement authorities pursuant to the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 (HSR). Tom also had experience in representing international companies and foreign individuals (primarily from Europe) in connection with their business investments and operations in the U.S. Tom holds an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
