Practice/Organization Description

Alan Brooks brings more than 19 years of experience in marketing, sales and product management in the high-tech and legal industries to his role of vice president of marketing at eTERA Consulting.

Brooks was vice president of marketing at RenewData, an email archiving, compliance and electronic discovery service provider. With strong leadership roles in marketing, sales and executive management, Brooks’ cross-functional business approach was critical to successfully driving RenewData’s strategic marketing initiatives and product direction and building a customer-driven company. Brooks was a member of the management team that in three years grew RenewData from approximately $5M in revenue to $30M in revenue.

Prior to joining RenewData, Brooks held several key management roles and honed his expertise in product marketing, positioning, and customer relationship management skills. Brooks was Vice President of Marketing at CaseCentral, a legal and financial industry software-as-a-service company providing secure document management services. At CaseCentral he successfully repositioned the company as a premium market provider and helped the company grow from non-profitable $5.2 million profitable $12 million. Prior to CaseCentral, Mr. Brooks held executive and management positions at Remedy Corporation, Utopia Technology Parnters and Pfizer.
