I help individuals and families navigate complex personal and legal transitions, specifically through family and elder law and mediation practice. My practice aims to be integrative and holistic, seeking results that are sustainable and wholesome in the long run for the individual and family and also (when appropriate) utilizing a collaborative approach which incorporates the work of collaborative professionals. I am an IACP certified collaborative professional and an advanced mediator member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators.
Examples of family issues in my practice would be mediation of complex divorce, mediation of elder care arrangements, negotiation and drafting of prenuptial agreements, drafting of wills and advance health care planning documents, grandparent or step-parent adoptions, name changes, legal representation in cases where a vulnerable adult is at risk, and legal representation in any kind of case in which full agreement has already been reached through mediation or by consent of the parties.
