ALLYSON KURKER is an employment attorney at the Kurker Law Group.


Allyson was recently named a "Rising Star" by the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. This award is given annually to 20 attorneys in Massachusetts who have been members of the bar for 10 years or less, but who have already distinguished themselves in some manner and appear poised for even greater accomplishments.

In November 2011, Allyson was honored as a “Rising Star” in employment law by Super Lawyers, a service that rates outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to this annual list.

Allyson has helped hundreds of employers and schools resolve their personnel issues for nearly fifteen years, as both a sexual harassment investigator and presenter, and as an attorney in the employment group of the Boston office of Bingham McCutchen. She uses this experience to provide litigation prevention strategies, and defend clients in the event of a lawsuit.

Unique Experience

Allyson brings a unique experience to her role as an employment attorney, having founded a consulting company that helped schools and universities investigate harassment complaints and present prevention programs. Her organization visited hundreds of schools across the country and was recognized by The Boston Globe, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Cosmopolitan magazine and The National Organization for Women. She also was featured in the Boston Business Journal article “Lawyers Shine Their First Year Out.”

Allyson was selected as one of the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state for 2011 and 2012 by Massachusetts Super Lawyers & Rising Stars. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive this honor.

Awarded an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale Hubbard (4.9 out of 5). An AV Preeminent rating “is a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence.” (2012)
