Complex Litigation - Represents individual and corporate clients, including the nation’s leading banks, thrifts, insurance companies, securities firms, and other financial services institutions, in a wide range of class action and complex civil litigation. Many of these cases involve allegations of discrimination, predatory lending, unfair competition and deceptive trade acts and practices, fraud, false statements, false claims, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duties, as well as other claimed violations of regulations and laws governing their business activities.
Government Enforcement - Practice includes representing corporate clients and individual officers and directors at every stage of government investigations and enforcement actions initiated by state and federal agencies, including the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, U.S. Attorneys Offices, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the offices of the state attorneys general throughout the United States.
Fair Lending - Provides pro-active compliance advice and represent clients in federal and state government enforcement investigations, administrative proceedings, and complex litigation involving the full spectrum of issues related to the fair treatment of consumers in all aspects of the lending relationship.
