Practice/Organization Description

After serving on a nuclear submarine in the U.S. Navy, Dan Gilleon received a B.A. in American and English Literature from the University of California, San Diego. He attended California Western School of Law on a scholastic scholarship, earning a J.D. with Law Review and cum laude honors.

Mr. Gilleon began his career representing major insurance companies, including State Farm, Farmers, and Progressive. He no longer works for insurance companies, and instead represents individuals in claims against large institutions--regularly winning against perceived unlikely odds.

Most of Mr. Gilleon's cases have been referred to him by other lawyers throughout the United States, as well as former clients. He has taken, and won, many cases other attorneys turned down because he saw ways to win that other lawyers missed.

Mr. Gilleon has tried numerous catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, both for the people who were hurt and for people who were sued. Other areas of expertise include wrongful termination and civil rights.

The complexity of the jury trials he has handled, from both the plaintiff and defendant sides, has provided Mr. Gilleon the broad range of experience that is critical for achieving the types of results his clients need and deserve.
