Cathal has extensive experience in all areas of litigation acting for plaintiffs and defendants in all Courts from the District Court to the Supreme Court. He has obtained multi-million euro awards for clients and represented clients in largest cases in the past few years.
He also has advised companies and private clients in information technology law, employment law, commerical law, proporty transactions, residential developments, commercial developments, medical negligence, licensing law and personal injury law.
Cathal obtained a Bachelor in Business in Legal Studies (B.B.L.S) in University College Dublin (U.C.D). He subsequently obtained a Diploma in Web Design Programming in Dublin Business School and a Diploma in Commercial Property Law in the Law Society of Ireland.
Cathal is also a qualified Notary Public and a member of the Faculty of Notaries Public of Ireland. He is also the Company Secretary of the Dublin BID Company Limited which is focussed on promoting the City Centre. Dublin City BID is a not for profit organisation charged with creating a welcoming and economically viable city environment. It represents 2,500 businesses in the city centre and works with its partners to enhance the appeal of the city centre as a place for shopping, recreation and business development by increasing footfall and improving overall trading performance. It is behind such innovative projects such as dublintown.ie, 'dine in dublin', 'unique to Dublin', and 'Dublin at Christmas'.
