Practice/Organization Description
My previous legal experience consists of representing indigent tenants in disputes with their landlords, reviewing pending legislation for constitutional defects and prisoner commutation requests for Michigan's Governor, counseling local governments on land use/zoning, condemnation, annexation, municipal governance, guiding county drain commissioners through easement acquisition projects and litigating on behalf of personal injury victims and business entities.
Currently, I work with passionate entrepreneurs and small businesses. Specifically, I help them form corporate entities, draft contracts, take on investors and protect their assets.
I also specialize in defending cases Michigan's patients and caregivers from criminal prosecution based on the protections granted to them in Michigan's Medical Marihuana Act.
