The partners of Goodstein & Berman LLP are both distinguished graduates of prestigious California law schools, with more than twenty five years combined experience representing clients in a wide variety of business disputes. We are experienced and accomplished litigators with trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts throughout California. We handle all aspects of litigation from filing to trial to appeal.
The members of the firm are both "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell, a peer-review designation conferred only on lawyers who have "reached the height of professional excellence...and are recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity."
Mr. Goodstein earned his juris doctorate from Loyola Law School Los Angeles (J.D., cum laude 1993), where he earned membership in the Order of the Coif, a legal honor society recognizing academic excellence; he was also a member of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Journal. Mr. Goodstein earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from San Francisco State University.
Mr. Berman attended law school at McGeorge University, where he was editor of the Pacific Law Journal, an oral finalist in the Moot Court Competition Program, and earned Dean’s List honors. Mr. Berman is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), where he earned a bachelors degree in psychology.
