Practice/Organization Description
Attorney Allen's litigation practice concentrates in the areas of personal injury, liquor liability, family law, probate and real estate. His litigation experience includes arbitrating, mediating and trying civil and family disputes. In addition to his litigation practice, Attorney Allen handles residential and commercial real estate transactions, foreclosure actions, and debt consolidation. He practices before the state probate courts handling estate, conservator, guardian and children's matters.
While at Quinnipiac University School of Law, Attorney Allen competed on the University Mock Trial team and was awarded for his distinguished academic achievement. He is a frequent lecturer on living wills, last will and testaments, and liquor liability. Attorney Allen is also a mentor with the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association for young attorneys. In 2010 and 2011, he has been recognized as a Rising Star in the Connecticut and New England legal communities. In 2012, he was selected to be member of the National Trial Lawyers Association Top 40 Under 40.
He is also active in his local community, where he is chair of the school's Parent Teacher Advisory Committee, Treasurer for the PTO and a youth soccer coach.
