Practice/Organization Description

I work with and represent organizations in the music and entertainment industries, musicians, actors, athletes, and creative-minded professionals. Much of my work involves intellectual property licensing and disputes, contract negotiation, and all aspects of litigation and appellate practice. Prior to entering private practice with my father, I worked as a appellate court staff attorney.

Before law school I earned my living as a professional musician. During my career, I performed internationally with artists both obscure and famous, including Grammy-award winners The Four Tops and Ray Charles. I leverage that prior experience combined with my legal training to gain a unique perspective and understanding of the legal issues in the entertainment, sports, and technology industries.
