Jorge M. Abril, P.A. is a collection law firm specializing in the recovery of all types of delinquent debt. Our primary focus areas include Healthcare Reimbursement (individual & commercial), Building and Construction Litigation (including lien enforcement and foreclosure), Consumer & Retail Debt Collection (pre-charge off through litigation), Commercial Litigation (pre- and post- judgment, including garnishment, attachment, replevin, and proceedings supplementary), and International Debt Collection (including domestic enforcement of foreign judgments and pursuit of post- judgment remedies in foreign countries).
We also provide advice to creditors, collection agencies, and other credit professionals in FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, and other legislative / regulatory compliance. Our attorneys are frequent lecturers on debt collection laws and regulations, and are the authors of the Florida Collection Law Blog.
Craig R. Lewis, Esq. joined the firm in 2007. Prior to that Craig attended law school at the Florida International University College of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the FIU Law Review, responsible for publishing its inaugural edition.
