Practice/Organization Description

My practice is focused on intellectual property and technology law. Over the years, I have been fortunate to been able to serve clients in a variety of different ways:

-- negotiating significant licensing, development, collaboration, and confidentiality agreements;

-- advising on intellectual property portfolio strategy, development, and exploitation;

-- protecting important intangible assets such as patents, trademarks, and copyrights through negotiation and litigation;

-- conducting intellectual property-focused due diligence on behalf of buyers, sellers, borrowers, lenders, and investors;

-- assisting established and growing companies with identifying their intellectual property priorities and leveraging their resources to increase value.

My general approach is to try to place myself in the shoes of the client, and to offer advice from a legal and a practical perspective. I want to help make things happen, not be the one who puts the brakes on.
