For more than 30 years, the Law Offices of Robert N. Nelson has been representing husbands and wives confronted with the often traumatic experience of divorce in matters ranging from simple uncontested cases to complex litigation. The firm strives to find solutions to the problems faced by its clients in the resolution of financial, family and custodial issues by means of negotiated settlements, or should it become necessary, through contested litigation.

In addition to being dedicated advocates for their clients, the firm's attorneys are also experienced divorce mediators for those couples desirous of resolving their issues through the mediation process.

The firm, composed of both men and women lawyers, provides its clients with the highest standard of legal representation and inventive approaches toward the achievement of client objectives. The attorneys have litigated hundreds of contested divorce, matrimonial, and family matters, and have represented thousands of clients in resolving their issues through negotiation or mediation.

Mr. Nelson is admitted to the State Bar of New York and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and is a member of the Matrimonial and Family Court Law & Procedure Committees of the Nassau County Bar Association.
