Rick obtained his B.A. degree from Xavier University in 1967 and a law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1975. At Salmon P. Chase he was a member of the Order of the Curia and Assistant Editor of the Northern Kentucky Law Journal. He is a member of the Kentucky and Northern Kentucky Bar Associations and sits on the boards of several non-profit organizations.
