Eckstein Schechter Law is dedicated to managing our clients’ business transactions and affairs. We focus on all of the details of our clients’ transactions, without letting the details become an obstacle to our clients’ goals. As deal managers, we focus on getting to the finish line in a way that makes our clients comfortable and secure in their business objectives. With over 15 years of experience in the South Florida real estate market, representing buyers, sellers, developers, and lenders, we have a unique understanding of all aspects of complex commercial real estate and corporate transactions. We are skilled negotiators, detailed deal managers and focused advocates.
Rosa Eckstein Schechter has been an active participant in Florida’s real estate community for over 15 years, first as a transactional attorney in large firms and most recently as general counsel for two national developers. Her diverse and comprehensive experience and negotiating skills give her a unique insight into both sides of the deal, and make her an effective advocate for her clients, who benefit from her knowledge, expertise and perspective.
Rosa has represented home builders, residential developers and retail developers in the negotiation, documentation and closing of acquisition, sale and financing transactions. Her role is that of “deal manager” with primary responsibility for ensuring that deals close. She has overseen transactions involving development and construction projects for a wide range of uses, and has also represented national lenders and mortgage companies in a variety of loan and sale transactions.
A native of Mexico City, Rosa grew up in Coral Gables. She is an active member of the Florida Regional Board of Directors, of the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation and of Temple Bet Shira. She is fluent in both Spanish and French.
