Mr. McGinley has been counsel in a number of prominent cases, including representing the State of West Virginia in cases to recover unpaid workers compensation premiums as part of project resulting in over $80,000,000 in settlements, representing the State of West Virginia in a case against a drug manufacturer that resulted in a $10,000,000 settlement, representing former West Virginia Governor Arch A. Moore, Jr., in his effort to restore his law license, representing University of Arizona Head Football Coach Rich Rodriguez in a lawsuit with West Virginia University, and representing a coalition of community groups in a successful challenge of former West Virginia Governor Cecil Underwood's unconstitutional appointment to the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals.
