Practice/Organization Description
Steve Matthews is the founder of Stem Legal, a company that helps law firms build online profile and increase web-driven business.
Tactics range from Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and link building campaigns, to audience profiling and content development strategies. Stem also helps firms leverage the new social web, including law blogs, content syndication strategies (ie. RSS), social networking, and business market conversations.
Steve is the former Knowledge Services Director at a Canadian law firm, with 12 years in-house experience guiding web marketing, KM and Library initiatives. He is the current Past-President for VALL, and an active member of CALL and the American Bar Association's law practice section. He has been on the editorial board of the ABA's Law Practice magazine since 2007.
