REAL ESTATE PRACTICE
I negotiate and document sophisticated real estate matters, including sales and acquisitions, financing, construction and development, retail, office and industrial leasing, property management and multi-party, tax-deferred exchanges. While I frequently represent clients in matters having a high dollar value, I take special pride in providing representation in smaller matters commonly sought by individual clients, with comparable diligence and efficiency. I represent developers, investors, joint venturers, landlords, tenants and lending institutions in diverse real estate transactions.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION & LITIGATION
I frequently represent owners, tenants and lenders in real estate disputes. I am experienced in both alternative dispute resolution and the handling of litigated matters at all stages. My philosophy is to seek to achieve the client’s goals and objectives in the advocacy process in a cost-effective manner and to explore all avenues of dispute resolution whenever possible.
CONTRACT DRAFTING AND REVIEW
Part of my practice includes representing parties buying or selling middle market businesses, as well as preparing agreements for businesses for such matters as standard sales terms, distribution of products, employment of key personnel, equipment leases and banking relationships.
