Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg is an Associate Justice on the United States Supreme Court. She was appointed by President Bill Clinton in 1993 and is the second female justice to serve on the Court. Prior to serving on the Court, Justice Ginsberg worked as attorney for the ACLU and was instrumental in advancing women's rights through the legal system. Justice Ginsberg is generally considered a member of the Court's more liberal wing.
