State AG Group member, Meghan Stoppel, will speak at 9th Annual Legal, Regulatory & Compliance Forum on Dietary Supplements (virtual, June 8 – 10) co-hosted by The Council for Responsible Nutrition and the American Conference institute.
She is participating in a panel discussion with Nature’s Bounty Counsel and Privacy Officer Gregory Fortsch, and Kelley Drye partner John Villafranco, on Keeping the Regulators in Check: A Closer Look at the Future of Federal and State Enforcement and Consumer Protection in the Supplements Space. The panel will discuss the potential ramifications of AMG Capital Management LLC V. FTC and how State AGs could fill the enforcement void following the Supreme Court’s revocation of the FTC’s restitution authority under section13(b) of the FTC Act, and why the supplements industry should be concerned.
