I. Certificate of Need Program -

A. AL2020-042, The Board of Trustees of the University of Alabama for the University of Alabama Hospital, Birmingham, AL: Proposes to expand the hospital by adding fifty (50) beds to its current 1,157 bed facility for a total of 1,207 inpatient beds pursuant to section 410-2-4-.02(5), Bed Availability Assurance for Acute Care (Hospitals). Opposition: None. Approved.

B. AL2021-006, Leoti Dialysis, LLC, d/b/a Patton Creek Dialysis, Jefferson County, AL: Proposes to construct and operate a new fourteen (14) station, state-of-the-art end stage renal disease (ESRD) facility comprised of thirteen (13) in-center hemodialysis stations and one (1) isolation station. Opposition: None Approved.

C. Emergency Request, AL2021-017-E, Cullman Regional Medical Center, Cullman, AL: Proposes to request emergency approval of thirty (30) acute care beds with immediate approval to utilize its observation rooms to temporarily house the additional beds pursuant to the Bed Availability Rule, 410-2- 4-.02 Acute Care (Hospitals) Section (5). Opposition: None Approved.
