The Arkansas Advanced Energy Association (“AAEA”) has scheduled a Lunch + Learn for November 19th.

The session will be held at the University of Arkansas’s Energy Research Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

AAEA states that the Lunch and Learn will spotlight the University’s energy research center. The research center is denominated the National Center for Reliable Electric Power Transmission (“NCREPT”).

The event will include a presentation featuring the center's Executive Director, Dr. Alan Mantooth, Distinguished Professor in the College of Engineering, and businesses spun out of academic research at NCREPT. Following the presentation, attendees will be allowed to tour the center.

The presentation will be held from 11:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at 2055 South Innovation Way in Fayetteville.

AAEA describes itself as:

. . . the business voice for advanced energy in Arkansas. AAEA is dedicated to growing Arkansas’s economy through expanded utilization of advanced energy technologies, including energy efficiency, demand and response, natural gas electric generation, solar, wind, hydro, nuclear, electric vehicles, alternative fuels, and smart grids.
