The Arkansas Advanced Energy Association (“AAEA”) will hold its 7th Annual Meeting & Policy Conference “emPOWERing Arkansas” (“Conference”) on October 9th.

The Conference will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Heifer International at 1 World Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas.

The Conference brings together the following to examine critical advanced energy policy issues and to recognize innovative industry leaders:

• Advanced energy business leaders
• Utility executives
• Policymakers and regulators
• Other industry stakeholders

“Innovations in Energy Efficiency” will be moderated by Keith Canfield of CLEAResult and will feature:

• Mark Cayce, Ouachita Electric Cooperative Corp.
• Sherry McCormack, Southwestern Electric Power Co.
• John Ware, Arkansas Oklahoma Gas Corp.

AAEA is accepting nominations for the 2018 Arkansas Advanced Energy Awards which will be presented at the Conference. Awards to be presented will include:

• Ron Bell Advanced Energy Leadership Award
• Advanced Energy Rising Start Award
• Advanced Energy Business Innovations Award
