The SEC has announced that, just like last year, the SEC’s EDGAR system will be closed on both Christmas eve, Thursday, December 24, 2020, and Christmas day, Friday, December 25, 2020.

The federal government will be closed on both days, and the SEC will treat both days as federal holidays for filing purposes.  EDGAR will resume normal operations on Monday, December 28, 2020. That means that no filings will be accepted on EDGAR, the website will not be operational and EDGAR Filer Support will be closed. Filings due by December 24, December 25, December 26 or December 27, 2020, “will be considered timely if filed on or before December 28, 2020, because December 28, 2020 is EDGAR’s next operational business day.”

Happy holidays everyone!
