For those clients that received extensions on the filing deadline for their BE-10 surveys, they are reminded that the August 31, 2015 deadline is approaching. The BE-10 is the five year benchmark survey of United States direct investment abroad. The BEA has also posted on its website that it will not grant further extensions to the deadlines for the BE-10 surveys. If you are unable to complete all of the required survey reports by the deadline, the BEA recommends that you submit those survey reports that you have completed by the filing deadline – along with a note indicating what reports are still pending submission to BEA and the remaining survey reports should be filed soon as possible.
