On January 1, the CFPB launched its HMDA data platform webpage, enabling financial institutions to upload their loan/application registers, review edits, certify their data, and submit their 2025 HMDA data. Financial institutions that reported at least 60,000 applications and covered loans, excluding purchased covered loans, in the prior calendar year will be required to file quarterly. The annual filing period for 2025 data runs from January 1, 2026, to March 2, 2026, and the first quarterly filing period for 2026 data is set from April 1, 2026, to June 1, 2026. Filing instructions can be found in this guide.
