Boone v. Goldberg, transcript of closing argument by plaintiff’s counsel, Patrick Malone, in a medical malpractice trial in Montgomery County, Maryland Circuit Court in Rockville, Md. The case concerned a brain injury that occurred in ear surgery. The case ultimately made significant new law in Maryland, with the Maryland Court of Appeals holding that patients had a right under the informed consent doctrine to find out the amount of experience their surgeon has in doing the proposed surgery.
