Comment Dates Announced for Small Business Exemption to the Enhanced Transparency Rule

On July 6, 2015, a summary of the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Small Business Exemption to the Open Internet Order’s Enhanced Transparency Rule was published in the Federal Register.

The FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau (CGB) seeks comment on whether to maintain a temporary exemption for smaller providers from various provisions of the Enhanced Transparency Rule.  The Enhanced Transparency Rule governs the content and format of the disclosures made by broadband Internet access service providers.

Comments are due on or before August 5, 2015.  Reply comments are due on or before September 4, 2015.
