The European Commission is opening multiple fronts to adapt and increase regulatory oversight of digital players in the EU Internal Market. At the same time, EU member states such as Germany and France on the one hand, as well as the United Kingdom on the other, are taking separate initiatives at the national level. This activity is all taking place while legislators and regulators in the United States are likewise focused on digital markets.
