Ideal for professionals with some compliance knowledge and experience, HCCA’s Healthcare Privacy Compliance Academy offers practitioners a deeper understanding of effective compliance management in a healthcare setting. The Academy provides three-and-a-half days of classroom-style learning designed to help attendees manage the ongoing challenges and latest developments, changes, and updates in privacy laws and regulations.
Academies are limited in size to encourage engagement with the faculty and other attendees, foster meaningful group discussions, and create an active learning environment where key principles can be practiced and improved.
Participants can earn all the live Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® continuing education units (CEUs) required to sit for the optional Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC®) exam, which is offered on the last day. A separate application and fee are required for those who qualify.
As a follow-up resource for ongoing support, all attendees receive complimentary one-year online access to the Health Care Privacy Compliance Handbook (a $225 value).
