Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac recently reissued Lender Letter 2020-06 and Bulletin 2020-17.  Among other things, the guidance extends the eligible note dates to June 30, 2020, and delivery date to August 31, 2020, for sales of loans in forbearance due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lender Letter 2020-06 and Bulletin 2020-17 were initially issued to provide liquidity options for certain loans that have been placed into forbearance after loan closing but prior to loan sale.  The previous policy was set to expire on May 31, 2020.
