Commissioner Philip Moeller of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) this afternoon announced his intention to leave FERC at the end of October 2015.  Although Moeller’s term expired in June 2015, he was allowed to remain in his seat until the Senate recessed for the term, in December 2015.  Commissioner Moeller had previously indicated that he would remain in his seat until the White House had nominated a new Commissioner to replace him.  To date, no such nomination has been forthcoming.
