The Associated General Contractors of America (“AGC”) announced the release of a document titled:
General Contractors: Questions and Considerations Related to PFAS (“Guide”).
The stated purpose of the Guide is to:
- Help construction companies understand the risks associated with encountering per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (“PFAS”) on jobsites.
- Raise considerations and questions that contractors may ask during preconstruction and project execution to make informed decisions.
- Provides a series of considerations related to the potential for PFAS contamination on a project in order to spread awareness/promote effective risk management.
AGC describes itself as:
…the voice of the construction industry, is an organization of qualified construction contractors and industry related companies dedicated to skill, integrity and responsibility.
