Georgia DCH Publishes Proposed Rules that Update Operational Requirements for Personal Care Homes and Assisted Living Communities

On June 10, 2021, the Georgia Department of Community Health provided public notice of its intent to revise the regulations for Personal Care Homes and Assisted Living Communities. The revised regulations are intended to implement the changes made under House Bill 987 pertaining primarily to staffing and memory care services. Written public comments may be submitted on or before July 16, 2021. The Public Notices with the full revisions can be found here.
