Law on benchmarks published

Parliament voted bill 7164 implementing certain provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/1011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 8 June 2016 on indices used as benchmarks in financial instruments and financial contracts or to measure the performance of investment funds and amending Directives 2008/48/EC and 2014/17/EU and Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 into national law with the law of 17 April 2018 on benchmarks, and which was published on 19 April 2018.

Law on PRIIPs KID published

Parliament voted bill 7199 implementing certain provisions of Regulation (EU) No 1286/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 November 2014 on key information documents for packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (PRIIPs) into national law with the law of 17 April 2018 on key information documents for packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (PRIIPs), and which was published on 19 April 2018.

CSSF issues press release on new annual surveys on AML/CTF risks

The CSSF published a press release on its intention to conduct an annual online survey collecting standardized key information concerning money laundering and terrorist financing risks from entities subject to the law of 12 November 2004 on the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing, as amended, and which are subject to its supervision.
