The week of February 13-17, the House passed House Bill 76, Access to Healthcare Options on Thursday, February 16, 2023, sending a proposal for expanding Medicaid to the Senate for debate. In addition, the Joint Revenue Forecast was released projecting a $3.25 billion surplus.

In the upcoming week, lawmakers will continue to review and consider the state budget the Joint Appropriations Committee receiving a forecast and update presentation on Tuesday, February 21. The Governor will communicate his budget recommendations in March.
