Nevada’s Eviction and Foreclosure Moratorium to be Lifted in Phases

Yesterday, Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak signed Declaration of Emergency Directive 025, which allows for commercial evictions and foreclosures to resume on July 1, 2020 and certain residential evictions (not including for nonpayment of rent) to resume on August 1, 2020. The directives creating the moratoria will expire on September 1, 2020. Gov. Sisolak, however, continues to urge landlords, tenants, lenders and borrowers to cooperate on repayment plans.
