  • The New Jersey Senate has unanimously confirmed Jennifer Davenport as the state’s new AG. Davenport, a Democrat, was nominated by Governor Mikie Sherrill and previously served as the state’s first assistant AG and principal law enforcement advisor, later serving in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey before becoming deputy general counsel and chief litigation counsel at PSE&G.
  • Oklahoma State Representative Chris Kannady filed paperwork to run for AG, becoming the third Republican to enter the race alongside Jon Echols and Jeff Starling. As previously reported, Nick Coffey is seeking the Democratic nomination, and incumbent AG Gentner Drummond is not seeking reelection because he is running for governor.
  • Republican Arizona AG candidate Greg Roeberg announced he’s ending his campaign and will instead work as an attorney on legal challenges in the upcoming election. Roeberg has described himself as having served as a campaign attorney for President Donald Trump.
