Downs Rachlin Martin PLLCOn Tuesday, May 19, 2020, Vermont’s Agency of Commerce and Community Development (“ACCD”) Secretary Lindsay Kurrle confirmed that “low or no contact professional services” may operate with up to ten people in each location, as long as all health and safety requirements are followed. A summary of those requirements can be found here. Businesses in this category include appraisers, realtors, municipal clerks, attorneys, property managers, pet care operators, and other similar industries. The ten person limit includes the employees and client or customer. Additionally, all companies must maintain a log of all clients and customers and their contact information for 30 days in case contract tracing becomes required. Lastly, consistent with all guidance issued to date, Vermont continues to state that remote work is required if it is possible.
