Happy March! Spring is right around the corner and Super Tuesday is tomorrow. Here are your public-law highlights:

  • Colorado’s presidential primary. Coloradans are casting their ballots in the presidential primary, which wraps up tomorrow, on “Super Tuesday.” This is the state’s first election after switching from a caucus to a primary election. Please make sure to cast your ballot!
  • SCOTUS will hear “faithless electors” case. The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case from Colorado about whether presidential electors can decide for themselves whom to vote for. The Court will hold oral arguments on April 28, and a decision is expected by June 2020.
