On August 16, 2022, President Biden signed into law the Inflation Reduction Act (the Act), which expands clean and renewable energy production, jump-starts carbon reduction and sequestration technologies, accelerates decarbonization of the power sector and vehicle fleet, and promotes a host of other climate policies. In addition, the Act ushers in the largest clean energy tax credit package in US history.
