Changes to the Companies Act 2006 as a result of the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015 are intended to increase transparency over the ownership and control of UK companies and LLPs from early 2016 by requiring many of them to keep a register of people with significant control over them (known as a “PSC register”).
