Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete, LLP A bit of impeachment/employment law trivia.

The famous (or infamous, depending on your leanings or whether you are the First Lady) Pamela Karlan, the Stanford Law professor who testified in favor of impeachment of President Trump on Wednesday, argued for the Plaintiff before the U.S. Supreme Court in Bostock v. Clayton County.

Bostock is one of the three big LGBT/Title VII cases currently before the Court. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit had ruled in Bostock that Title VII did not prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation. The Supreme Court had oral argument on October 8, and a decision is expected in the spring.

Professor Karlan was the attorney who called retired Judge Richard Posner of the Seventh Circuit a "loose cannon."

I have not seen this reported anywhere else, so consider it a Constangy "exclusive." :-)
