Charlotte Bankruptcy Member and Team Leader Zach Smith will be moderating a panel of Puerto Rico’s Bankruptcy Judges at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Caribbean Insolvency Symposium on February 1 in Miami, Florida. The session titled, “A Conversation with the Judges,” will provide attendees with an opportunity to exchange observations and participate in a Q&A with Puerto Rico’s Bankruptcy Judges regarding Puerto Rico’s ongoing bankruptcy proceedings, Puerto Rico’s financial condition, the effect of the Puerto Rico fiscal crisis and Hurricanes Irma and Maria on bankruptcy filings in Puerto Rico, and related matters.
