In der heutigen Zeit müssen sich Kanzleien als Dienstleistungsunternehmen begreifen und die Anwälte sich als Unternehmer und Manager, die ihre Kanzlei nach marktwirtschaftlichen Regeln führen. Dazu gehören unter anderem ein gutes Kanzleimanagement, entsprechend ausgebildetes Personal, ein kunden- bzw. mandantenorientierter Service und insbesondere auch eine fundierte Internetpräsenz. Diese Studie befasst sich daher schwerpunktmäßig mit dem vielschichtigen Fragenkomplex der Mandantengewinnung über das Internet. Sie will Antworten auf die unten dargestellten Fragestellungen geben, Orientierung bieten, worauf bei einer Internetpräsenz von einem Anwalt oder einer Kanzlei aus Mandantensicht besonders zu achten ist und erhebt den Status Quo aus einer Stichprobe von Anwaltswebseiten bundesweit.
