Oh, wait. This is Canada. (For once.)

Christine Schell, a former employee of the Osoyoos Golf Club in Osoyoos, British Columbia (a lovely spot just north of the Washington State border), was allegedly fired from her job as a server at the club because she refused to wear a bra or an undershirt to work, in violation of the Club dress code. She has filed a complaint with the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal, contending that the dress code discriminated against women.

Supposedly her manager was worried that the braless Ms. Schell might not be treated in a gentlemanly manner by certain Club members. According to the CBC, the Club's policy required women to wear either a bra or a tank top under their uniform shirts.

The following is an open letter from me to the Osoyoos Golf Club:

Dear Osoyoos Golf Club:

Not that I think you did anything wrong, but here is a very easy solution to your problem. Amend your dress code as follows:

NOW: "Women must wear either a tank top or bra under their uniform shirt."

NEW, IMPROVED: "All employees must wear either a tank top, undershirt, or bra under their uniform shirt."
