Join Kelley Drye for a webinar featuring special guest speakers South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson and Assistant Deputy of the Consumer Protection Division Jared Libet. They will be joined by Kelley Drye State Attorneys General Practice Chair Paul Singer, Special Counsel Abby Stempson, and Special Counsel Beth Chun.

The session will explore current consumer protection priorities in South Carolina and provide insights into the state’s consumer protection laws. The discussion will also cover IRS regulations that affect consumer protection settlements. With several years of implementation now behind us, the speakers will assess how these regulations have influenced settlement structures, tax treatment of payments, and reporting obligations for attorneys general and other governmental entities.
